Welcome to Sole Heaven

My name is Lucy Evans, and I am a reflexologist in Stoke Gabriel, providing a peaceful, self-contained space to receive a deeply relaxing treatment that is personalised to you.

I take a comprehensive holistic approach to each client, taking care to learn about the many different aspects of your emotional and physical life in order to give you the best possible treatment. We can explore what the root causes of your imbalances are, and make suggested lifestyle and mindset changes to make improvements. Making these changes alongside regular reflexology treatments and support will help to accelerate your healing and improve general wellbeing.

Whether you are experiencing challenges with peri-menopause, sleep, grief, pregnancy, new motherhood, aches/pains, transitions in your life or just need a place to unwind, I am here to offer a bespoke reflexology service that leaves you feeling rested, restored, and revitalised overall.

I also offer some mobile reflexology appointments for clients in Paignton, Torbay, Totnes, Dartington, Galmpton, and anywhere else in the Devon area that sits within a 10-mile radius of my practice. These will incur an additional charge depending on how much travel is involved. Feel free to give me a call or text on 07854559782. You can also send me an email to discuss.

What is Reflexology?

Practised for thousands of years, reflexology involves various techniquess, and applying gentle but firm, intuitive pressure with fingers and thumbs to reflex points on your feet that link to various systems around the body via the nervous system. Manipulating these zones enables me to detect and address areas of blocked tension and imbalance throughout the body, leading to improved circulation, faster healing, and a wonderful feeling of relaxation. To learn a bit more about my reflexology in Stoke Gabriel and how it can help you, take a look at my What Is Reflexology? page.

Your First Session

Ahead of our first session, I will email you a health questionnaire and ask you to fill it out and send back to me before the treatment.

This form asks questions about your medical history, diet, lifestyle, and other areas that influence your health. We will then go through the form together when we meet in my log cabin, taking time to clarify the exact kind of reflexology you need. I then use soothing warm flannels with a Rose water and witch-hazel spritz to cleanse the feet before beginning your relaxing treatment. I have a cozy heated blanket for winter days and warm towel to wrap the feet. I recommend a minimum of one hour hands-on treatment time, and allow at least 75 minutes which allows initial discussion, and glass of water at the end to transition into the rest of your day.

The entire first session lasts at least 75 minutes in total.

My Location

I am based in Stoke Gabriel and work from my beautiful, wooden purpose-built log cabin at the bottom of my garden – the ideal space to lie down, unwind, and unplug. It is a deeply relaxing space, with hot towels, an essential oil diffuser, and candles. There is plenty of free parking on my drive.

About Me

I have always had a passion for complementary therapies, nutrition, exercise, and self-empowerment when it comes to health. I started practising yoga in my early twenties, which led to me leaving my marketing job in London, and working at a yoga retreat in Greece – the catalyst for my spiritual journey.

I started to practice meditation and yoga twice daily, becoming truly connected to nature, and developed a passion for travel, during which I completed my Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training, Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage certification, Ayurvedic oil massage and Reiki 1 course, and started to acknowledge the power of complimentary therapies.

Returning to England after four years in the United States, I knew I wanted to work with people in a healing capacity, and ended up settling in the beautiful town of Totnes, completing my Reflexology training at the highly regarded Devon School of Reflexology in Totnes and becoming a fully insured member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR). I feel very blessed to live amongst a very conscious community who are committed to their own health, environment, and a healthy lifestyle. I have competed many CPD courses, and am currently training to be an Integrated Health Coach, which combines Functional Medicine, TCM, Ayurveda, biohacking and much more to find the Root Cause of disease and discover wholistic treatment plans for each client. I love learning new things, wild swimming, animals, nature, walking with my son and hanging out with my son.
